Event Overview
Many organizations use a practitioner’s login when accessing NPPES and PECOS to create or maintain their Medicare enrollment information. CMS has clearly stated that only the practitioners themselves should be using this login.
With the transition to PECOS 2.0 set to be released in 2024, full implementation of revalidation requests, and the push for NPIs to be used as provider directories, now is the time to properly set up your organization to manage your practitioner enrollments/NPIs as a surrogate.
During this session, we will walk you through the CMS Identity & Access (I&A) roles available, how to properly set up your organization, and how to request and receive approval for surrogacy to easily manage enrollments/NPIs of practitioners or other organizations.
This webinar is a precursor to our upcoming Medicare Provider Enrollment Compliance Conference. We are offering a $50 discount to this webinar to those who are also attending the conference.
